The philosophy of PsychologyCare is that change is the business of psychological therapy and the merchandise of healing inherent in that process is the therapeutic relationship. PsychologyCare is about meeting someone face-to-face and working collaboratively to understand the underlying cause behind their distress whether that is depression, anxiety, or other mental health issues. We view expressions of distress as often rational, logical, understandable and sometimes useful responses to an event or events in an individual’s life. Over time these responses can become unhelpful leading to mental health concerns. It is through the therapeutic process we can create awareness and evoke lasting change.

Please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will answer your questions or schedule an appointment as soon as is possible. First appointment can usually be scheduled within the first week of contact, and evening and weekend appointments are available for your convenience. A referral from GP is not essential but with a mental health care plan (provided by the GP) you can get a rebate of up to 70% of the cost of each session for 10 sessions.
